UltrAN Ammonium Nitrate products

ANFO is the most cost-efficient civil explosive in the market. Yara offers a variety of grades of Ammonium Nitrates with different sensitivities and densities suitable for all applications: ANFO and different blends with emulsion.

UltrAN 70	High quality Ammonium Nitrate porous prills with high oil absorption and retention, suited for ANFO production. The low density and high porosity give UltrAN 70 improved sensitivity. UltrAN 70 is ideal for use in drill holes with diameter below 100 mm.
UltrAN 70 Tropical	High quality Ammonium Nitrate porous prills with high oil absorption and retention, suited for ANFO production. The low density and high porosity give UltrAN 70 improved sensitivity. UltrAN 70 is ideal for use in drill holes with ddiameter below 100 mm. Specially designed to keep it free flowing during storage and use in tropical climate. It can be stored long term because of its unique anti-caking technology.
UlrAN 75	High quality Ammonium Nitrate porous prills with high oil absorption and retention, suited for ANFO production.
UltrAN 80	High quality Ammonium Nitrate porous prills with good oil absorption and high retention, suited for ANFO production. The medium density gives UltrAN 80 higher energy concentration and makes it ideal for drill holes with diameter above 100 mm.

UltrAN 100	High density Ammonium Nitrate, providing higher energy blasts per m³.
UltrAN 100 E	A special grade of high density non-porous Ammonium Nitrate used in the manufacture of emulsion matrix.
UltrAN 100 NG	High purity, crystalline Ammonium Nitrate mainly used in the manufacture of nitroglycerine explosives.

UltrAN Calcium Nitrate products

UltrAN 110 CN	UltrAN 110 CN is a Calcium Nitrate compound that is suitable for double salt emulsions. UltrAN is a cost-efficient product for such emulsions. It will improve the stability of the emulsion matrix thus enabling additional re-pumping and transportation stress.

Ammonium Nitrate Solutions for emulsion production. No need for a dissolving unit in the production process, saving time and money. The following concentrations are available in our plants: UltrAN Sol 63, 83, 86, 90 and 92%.
